First Department of wooded France, the Channel also offers many protected areas as the regional park of Normandie Maine. The length of its coastline allows it to offer more than twenty ports such as Chantereyne, Roubari, St Nicolas or Flemish, or Isles of the harbor of Sinope and of Regnéville.
Similarly the English Channel has a good forty nautical centers where you can practice most water sports like water skiing. It is also possible to learn about the ocean cruise and rent sailboats. If you are fond of old rigs you can meet members of associations who share your interest such as Hugg Strand in Granville.

You will not fail to go at least one of the festivals of the region, such as "Charivarue" of Cherbourg. And your children how fun? You can take them to the zoo and landscaped Champrépus at Rock Bands of Granville, and of course they will be delighted if you take them to the path of tree climbing Cérences "Forest of the Elves" Torigni-sur-Vire "The pond Mayya," and that of St. Sauveur-le-Vicomte.
