Purchases on the island of Phuket

Phuket has two major markets, one on the south side of Th Ranong, near the city center, the other on the north side of Ong Sim Phai Th, southeast of downtown. The first dates back to the days when pirates, Indians, Chinese, Malays and Europeans traded in Phuket, where the presence of a great variety of sarongs and fabrics from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and of India. You will also find clothing and crafts cheap.

The second, more recent, specializes in fresh produce. Adjacent to the market, the spacious Robinson Ocean Plaza houses a branch of the Robinson department store and small shops of clothes and household goods at affordable prices. Many tailors and fabric stores Th Yaowarat Indian border, between Th Phang-Nga and Th Thalang, while the Chinese goldsmith mark Th Ranong, opposite the market Th Ranong.
